Thanks to the funding of the Lazio region, TECNOVERDE – Precision geomatic and environmental technologies for the monitoring and enhancement of ecosystem services of urban and peri-urban green infrastructures was born. The two-year project has the following objectives:
– provide operational solutions aimed at the planning and integrated management of urban and peri-urban green spaces and related ecosystem services, creating a network of innovative solutions and services that can be used by businesses and land managers;
– support the planning and management of urban green spaces through inventories carried out by citizens (citizen science) and professionals, with the help of the technologies prepared during the project (release of a specific free and user-friendly app);
– carry out training activities with stakeholders, expanding their knowledge of the ecosystem services offered by trees and involving them in the use of the services developed within the project.
